What Is the Google Analytics Tagging Service?
This is an add-on service that links click data for each promotion to Google Analytics.
- If GTM (Google Tag Manager) is installed on your site, you can configure gtag or dataLayer for each clickable element such as buttons within the Dpromotion editor.
- This service is applied per promotion and can be requested during the setup stage before the promotion starts.
The Google Analytics Tagging Service is charged at 5,000 credits per promotion.
Google Analytics Tagging Service Guide
If you are using the Google Analytics Tagging service, select Manage Promotions > Operating Environment Settings > Operation Method on the promotion setup screen, and choose Insert Script.

Manage Promotions > Operating Environment Settings > Operation Method screen, if URL Link is selected, the Google Analytics Tagging service cannot be used.
Select the Payment button on the Dashboard > Additional Services > Google Analytics Tagging screen.

In the Google Analytics Tagging popup, select the Promotion and Promotion Name for which the Google Analytics tagging script will be set, then click the Payment button.

From the Dashboard > Manage Promotions screen, select the Edit Theme button for the promotion where Google Analytics tagging will be applied.

In the editor, select the element where the click event will be configured, then enter the Google Analytics Tagging script in the Google Analytics Integration section located at the bottom of the right-hand settings panel.

After completing all installation steps, be sure to verify that the linked events are firing correctly using Google Tag Assistant or within the Google Analytics admin panel.
