What Is Whitelist Entry Restriction?
The Whitelist Entry Restriction feature limits promotion entry to participants whose email addresses match those pre-registered in advance during promotion operations.
This feature can be effectively used for promotions that require participation to be limited to eligible individuals who meet predefined conditions, such as employee-only events, membership-exclusive promotions, or targeted campaigns for specific customer groups.

What Is Email Verification?
The Email Verification feature verifies participant identity by sending a verification code to the email address entered during the promotion process.
By using email-based verification codes and identity confirmation procedures, abnormal participation such as false information entry, unauthorized use of another person’s email address, or use of temporary email accounts can be prevented in advance. This feature can be applied to various promotions that require accurate participant verification, including pre-registration events, prize draws, coupon issuance, and duplicate entry restrictions.

Operational Purpose of Whitelist Entry Restriction and Email Verification
Both the Whitelist Entry Restriction and Email Verification features verify eligibility based on participant email information and are designed to ensure stable operation by allowing only participants who meet predefined conditions. When used together, these features can be effectively applied to the following operational objectives.
- Prevention of Fraudulent Participation
Fraudulent participation types such as unauthorized use of another person’s email address, use of false or temporary email accounts, and duplicate entries can be blocked in advance through the email verification code process. Furthermore, by narrowing eligible participants through whitelist-based pre-selection, various operational risks caused by fraudulent participation can be minimized, enabling more stable promotion operations.
- Accurate Data Collection
By preselecting participants through a whitelist and applying an email verification code process, only verified and reliable information can be collected.
- Selective Operation for Specific Target Groups
Participation can be restricted to users whose email addresses match those pre-registered on the whitelist, and combined with email verification, promotions such as employee-only events, membership-based benefits, or campaigns targeting specific customers can be operated to allow entry only for approved participants.
Combined Use of Whitelist Entry Restriction and Email Verification
When applied together, the Whitelist Entry Restriction and Email Verification features allow promotion operations to be expanded into various formats depending on the promotion’s objective and target audience, and are particularly effective for the following types of promotions.
- Promotions for Internal Teams of Community Members
When operating promotions intended exclusively for internal teams or community members, participation can be restricted based on pre-registered email addresses using the whitelist feature. By applying email verification together, it is possible to confirm that the entered contact information belongs to the actual member.
- Targeted Promotions for Specific Customer Segments
When offering differentiated benefits to selected customer segments—such as membership-tier customers, customers with purchase history, or VIP members—eligible participants’ email addresses can be registered in the whitelist to prevent participation by non-targeted users.
- Reservation-Based Events or One-Entry-Per-Person Promotions
For promotions that require reservations or limit participation to one entry per participant—such as concerts, fan meetings, seat-based events, or experiential programs—the whitelist can be used to register reservation holders or invited guests, clearly defining eligible participants.
