Spin the Wheel Event
A Spin the Wheel Event is an interactive online campaign designed to drive continuous customer engagement and participation.
This user guide explains how to create a Spin the Wheel Event for various industries, including online stores built on platforms like Shopify, franchises, exhibitions, medical fields (dermatology, plastic surgery, etc.), and beauty brands. Learn how to offer rewards such as discount codes, coupons, and physical prizes, customize designs using the editor, and set prize quantities and probabilities. Spin the Wheel Event Interface
- Entry Button: When users tap the entry button on the event screen, the front panel spins, initiating the promotion participation and entry process.
- Arrow: Indicates the starting position for the Spin the Wheel spin and highlights the prize-win section when the event concludes.
- Prize Information (Object): Displays prize details on the spinning front panel, which can be freely edited in the editor.
- Front Panel: The rotating section, configurable with 4, 6, or 8 segments, representing the number of prizes. Advanced settings allow custom front panel uploads, supporting 2 to 10 segments. Each segment displays prize information.
- Back Panel: The fixed background element behind the front panel.
What is the Spin the Wheel Editor?
The Spin the Wheel Editor is a dedicated editing mode that allows easy customization of Spin the Wheel segments, prize details, design elements, and objects.
In Spin the Wheel Edit Mode, only certain objects can be copied, deleted, or rearranged to ensure smooth campaign operations.
Getting Started
Double-click on the Spin the Wheel in the editor or select Set Up Spin the Wheel in the settings panel to access the Spin the Wheel Editor.
Changing Templates
1. Double-click the Spin the Wheel in the editor or select the first layer Spin the Wheel Layer in the left settings panel. Then, click Set Up Spin the Wheel in the right settings panel to enter the Spin the Wheel Editor.
2. In the right panel, select a Spin the Wheel template to apply a new design.
3. Click ← Background in the top-left design area or press Esc to return to the Background Editor, completing the template update.
Changing the Spin the Wheel Front Panel
1. Access the Spin the Wheel Editor by double-clicking the Spin the Wheel or selecting Set Up Spin the Wheel in the settings panel.
2. In the left settings panel, click the Front Panel Layer. Then, choose a front panel template from the right panel to apply a new design.
Changing the Spin the Wheel Back Panel
1. Access the Spin the Wheel Editor by double-clicking the Spin the Wheel or selecting Set Up Spin the Wheel in the settings panel.
2. In the left settings panel, click the Back Panel Layer. Then, choose a back panel template from the right panel to apply a new design.
Changing the Spin the Wheel Arrow
1. Access the Spin the Wheel Editor by double-clicking the Spin the Wheel or selecting Set Up Spin the Wheel in the settings panel.
2. In the left settings panel, click the Arrow Layer. Then, choose an arrow template from the right panel to apply a new design.
Changing the Quantity of Segments
1. Access the Spin the Wheel Editor by double-clicking the Spin the Wheel or selecting Set Up Spin the Wheel in the settings panel.
2. In the left settings panel, click the Front Panel Layer. Then, in the right settings panel, select the quantity of Spin the Wheel segments. This automatically applies the first available template, so choose your preferred front panel template afterward.
3. Click ← Background in the top-left design area or press Esc to return to the Background Editor, completing the segment update.
The quantity of Spin the Wheel segments can be set between 4 and 8 by default.
If you upload a custom-designed front panel using Advanced Settings, you can configure between 2 and 10 segments.
Changing Prize Images and Names
Click on a prize, then use the right settings panel to move the prize image or name to another segment.
Exiting the Editor
Click ← Background in the top-left design area or press Esc to return to the Background Editor.
