Scratch Event
This guide provides a step-by-step approach to creating a mini-game-style Scratch Event with instant win mechanics and gamification elements.
Scratch Events are widely used in websites, mobile apps, offline pop-up stores, and trade shows, making them an effective tool for engagement-driven marketing campaigns.
They are commonly branded as lottery events, instant-win promotions, or prize giveaways, encouraging participation and excitement.

Scratch Event Structure
- Scratch Cover: The interactive layer that hides the prize and is revealed when scratched.
- Prize Information: The revealed area beneath the scratch cover. You can configure between 2 and 16 different prizes.
What is the Scratch Editor?
The Scratch Editor is an optimized tool that allows you to easily modify and customize scratch objects.
For smooth campaign operations, the Scratch Editor only allows certain objects to be copied, deleted, or reordered.
Getting Started
Double-click on the scratch object or select Set Up Scratch in the settings panel to access the Scratch Editor.
Changing the Scratch Template
- Double-click the scratch object in the Editor or select the first layer Scratch Layer in the left settings panel. Click Set Up Scratch in the right settings panel to open the Scratch Editor.
- In the right panel, select a pre-uploaded scratch template to change the design.
- Click ← Background in the top-left design area or press Esc to return to the Background Editor, completing the template update.
Adjusting the Number of Prizes
- Double-click the scratch object in the editor or select the first layer (Scratch Layer) in the left settings panel.
Click Set Up Scratch in the right settings panel to enter the Scratch Editor. - In the right panel, adjust the number of prizes (minimum 1, maximum 16).
- Click ← Background in the top-left design area or press Esc to return to the Background Editor, applying the changes.
- The quantity of prizes set in the Editor determines the maximum quantity of prizes for the Scratch Event, ranging from minimum 1 to maximum 16.
- Prize details, including win probability and quantity, can be configured separately in the Prize Settings section.
Exiting the Editor
Click ← Background in the top-left design area or press Esc to return to the Background Editor.
