Virtual Waiting Room Settings
What Is a Virtual Waiting Room?
The Virtual Waiting Room feature allows you to control the number of users who can enter a specific URL when traffic spikes, not only for promotions created in Dpromotion but also for external site URLs.
You can either set the number of entrants manually or use the Agent AI plan, which automatically adjusts settings based on traffic conditions, helping ensure stable service operations even during sudden traffic surges.
In addition, based on Virtual Waiting Room operation data, AI provides analysis insights by operation period, allowing you to conveniently review summarized and organized operation results.
This helps minimize operational risks caused by unexpected traffic spikes, such as service outages, server overload, and page access errors.
- URL-Based Virtual Waiting Room Settings
You can configure wildcard (*)-included paths for promotions created in Dpromotion and external site URLs, so that users accessing those pages are directed to the waiting room.
- Entry Capacity and Entry Rate Settings
In the default entry rate settings, you can define the number of users allowed to enter within one minute. When needed, you can also add entry rate settings by period to operate with different entry capacities depending on the period.
- Site Access Duration Settings
Site Access Duration can be configured in hours, minutes, and seconds for up to 24 hours, and can be applied only to URLs where the Virtual Waiting Room feature is enabled.
- Priority Access User Settings
By uploading a CSV file or entering information manually, you can register specific user email addresses so that email-verified users can enter without waiting in the queue.
- Agent AI-Based Automatic Optimization
When the Agent AI plan is selected, AI analyzes traffic in real time, adjusts entry capacity by interval, and can expand the waiting room capacity in connection with additional credits when needed.
- Virtual Waiting Room Design Settings
You can set the accent color and background color of the Virtual Waiting Room screen, upload a background image, and preview the screen on both PC and mobile devices.
- AI-Powered Virtual Waiting Room Operation Insights
AI summarizes and analyzes operation data for the period requested by the operator and provides it as insights, allowing you to review access trends and operation patterns.

How to Use the Virtual Waiting Room
The Virtual Waiting Room feature can be used effectively in promotion operation environments where traffic concentration is expected.
- First-Come, First-Served Events and Limited-Quantity Promotions
When operating promotions that attract concentrated traffic within a short period of time, such as limited-quantity sales, first-come, first-served coupon distribution, and limited-edition entries, you can control the number of entrants step by step to reduce service load caused by simultaneous access and maintain a stable operating environment.
- Large-Scale Marketing Campaigns and Brand Promotions
When operating campaigns where a large volume of traffic is expected at a specific time due to advertising, social media exposure, or media coverage, you can either set the number of entrants manually or use the Agent AI plan to adjust it automatically, ensuring stable service operations even during sudden traffic surges.
- Promotions Requiring Priority Access for Specific Users
When operating promotions where traffic concentration is expected, you can register internal operators or VIP customers as priority access users so they can bypass the waiting queue.
