Script Insertion Setup

Note:
Before setting up your Promotion, make sure to connect your Shopify store with DPromotion by following the integration guide.

 

1. Go to the dashboard and open Manage Promotions, then click Free Test.

 

 

2. On the Free Test page, click Copy Script.

 

 

3. In the Shopify admin, open the blog post editor and click the <> icon above the text field.
    Paste the copied script into the HTML editor.

 

 

4. Click Save to apply the Promotion to your post.

 

Note:
If you're unable to set up the script yourself, you can request Script Assisted Setup. 
Important:
If you're running the Promotion via URL, member integration and automatic prize delivery will not be available.
To use these features, go to, Manage Promotions > Environment Settings > App Installed > Insert Script 
Note:
To operate your Promotion using a DPromotion-generated URL, go to, Manage Promotions > Environment Settings > App Not Installed or select Other under Environment Settings.
Please note that selecting App Not Installed or Other will disable member integration and automatic prize delivery features. 
Note:
If the Promotion is scheduled, a “Preparing Image” image will display until the start time.
The Promotion will then appear automatically.
